Engineering services

The catalog covers problems common enough to package. Everything else is a project. These are the three kinds of work we take on.

ATE station integration

Getting a test station from a pile of instruments to a repeatable process: instrument drivers, signal routing, the configuration that ties measurement names to physical channels, and the integration with your sequencer.

We work with what you already have. A station that runs today on specific instruments and existing sequences does not need to be replaced to be improved - most of the value is in the layer between the sequence and the hardware, which is where a change usually costs the most and gets avoided the longest.

  • Instrument abstraction so sequences stop naming specific hardware
  • Signal and routing configuration through switches, multiplexers and matrices
  • Station configuration and product variant data kept out of the test logic
  • Integration with NI TestStand and other sequencers

Custom software

Desktop applications and tools built for one problem that no product on the market fits. Typically this looks like: data that exists but is unusable, a manual process everyone accepts because automating it was never anyone's job, or a report that takes a day to assemble every month.

We build these the same way we build our own products - offline where it makes sense, in standard formats, and documented well enough that someone else can maintain them.

AI agents for process automation

Not a chatbot on your website. Agents that do the repetitive engineering work that surrounds testing and manufacturing: gathering data from the places it lives, checking it against rules, producing the document somebody would otherwise assemble by hand, and flagging the cases that need a human decision.

The honest framing for this work: automation is worth it when a task is frequent, rule-based and currently done by someone whose time is worth more. We will tell you when a task does not meet that bar - a script or a fixed integration is often the better answer, and it is cheaper to maintain.

How a project starts

  1. Describe the problem - not the solution you have in mind. What breaks, how often, and what it costs when it does.
  2. We tell you whether we are the right fit. Sometimes the answer is a product from the catalog, and sometimes it is that you do not need us.
  3. Scope and estimate for the work, in writing, before anything starts.
  4. Build, with something usable early rather than a long silence followed by a delivery.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell staff augmentation by the hour.
  • We do not take on work where we cannot see the actual data or the actual station - guessing at either produces tools that fail on contact with reality.
  • We do not claim certifications or regulatory qualifications we do not hold. If your process requires a qualified supplier, tell us early so we can be straight with you about it.
